Job Summary

Komprise is hiring a full-time UX Designer to help craft the future of our unstructured data management platform. As the second UX designer on the team, you will have a significant voice in our design culture. Working together with product managers, you will have a significant and tangible impact on an enterprise SaaS tool.

We are looking for an excellent communicator and fast thinker who thrives in rapidly changing environments. We need someone ready to drive and own entire projects from discovery to delivery. Because our product team spans the Bay Area and Bangalore, you will need to be comfortable navigating a global, cross-time-zone environment.

Key Responsibilities

• End-to-End Ownership: Own the UX of projects from initial concept and discovery through production and final delivery.
• Simplify Complexity: Translate complex business requirements and user needs into intuitive, user-friendly workflows and compelling visual designs.
• Design Execution: Create comprehensive journey maps, information architecture, user flows, wireframes, and high-fidelity designs that clearly communicate intent.
• Cross-Functional Collaboration: Partner with product managers, engineers, founders, and fellow designers to navigate ambiguity and define clear product needs.
• Stakeholder Alignment: Lead review sessions to collect real-time feedback on wireframes and mockups, rapidly incorporating insights and changing requirements into your designs.
• Developer Partnership: Work closely with UI developers, delivering clear, comprehensive design specifications and documentation to ensure effective implementation.
• Quality & Consistency: Act as a guardian of product UX quality. Regularly review product design and actively contribute to evolving the Komprise design system and visual language.

Minimum Qualifications

• 4-7 years of professional UX design experience.
• A strong portfolio showcasing experience designing complex workflows or enterprise software interfaces (data tables, forms, and interactive dashboards).
• A background in UX design for technical web applications.
• High proficiency in Figma with a strong command over user interactions and visual design patterns.
• Excellent communication, collaboration, problem-solving, and active listening skills.
• Proven experience working effectively in fast-paced and dynamic team environments.

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience working in the data sector, specifically with data visualization and analytics.
• Experience using AI tooling for UX design
