Job Summary: Komprise Product Quality Engineering team is responsible for performing all aspects of testing ensuring best quality is delivered to customers. You will work closely with development, product, and other QA team members in an Agile environment.

Key Responsibilities:
• Product Quality Engineering:
o Work with a highly agile, engaged and motivated engineering team.
o Design, Develop and Execute on Quality Strategies; including leveraging tools, technology for Test Automation as applicable.
o Develop, and execute test plans, test cases, and test scripts (manual and automated).
o Create and Review the Quality & Engineering artifacts.
o Coordinate testing with release processes.
o Use your strong scripting, programming experience.
o Collaborate with cross-functional teams to understand product requirements and ensure test coverage.
o Develop and maintain automation frameworks and tools

Process and Collaboration:
o Inspire, Mentor other junior members in the Quality Engineering team
o Evaluate and Propose Quality Engineering techniques, processes
o Conduct Interviews to identify best matching talent for the Komprise team
o Ability to evaluate & recommend appropriate automation tools and framework
o Continuously improve QA processes, tools, and methodologies

Qualifications:
• Experience:
o 4-8 years of in-depth Software Quality Engineering/Assurance work experience covering functional and non-functional aspects of the product
o Proven background as an individual contributor testing highly complex, scalable and reliable software
o Good working experience in Operating Systems, Networking, Storage & Cloud concepts
o Hands-on experience with one or more NAS, Cloud storages and protocols like NFS, SMB/CIFS, S3
o Experience with Agile software development methodologies and principles
o BE/MS in Computer Science or equivalent

Skills:
o Experience with distributed systems (databases, storage, map-reduce frameworks, etc.)
o Hand-on experience in Python
o Technology understanding of storage architecture (Dell, NetApp, EMC, etc.)
o Ability to troubleshoot customer issues quickly and provide on-the-spot workaround/scripts/solutions to customers collaborating with the Support team
o Ability to communicate complex technical concepts to both technical & non-technical audiences
o Ability to take up variety of roles in a start-up environment

Collaboration:
o Excellent interpersonal and communication skills, with a demonstrated ability to work cross-functionally with dev, support, product manager, and escalation teams

o Proven background as an individual contributor testing, automating highly complex, scalable and reliable software.

Adaptability:
o Comfortable working in a fast-paced, Experience with Agile software development methodologies and principles
